Transplanting & Up-Potting Success

Join us for a two-hour course on the fundamentals and best practices in transplanting your seedlings. This class will cover both “potting-up” your seedlings, as well as caring for and hardening off transplants. Objectives that we will cover include: the importance of air flow and fans, light needs, when to pot up vs. when to transplant, and best watering techniques. Upon completion of this course, you will be able to care for transplants and seedlings, while also hardening them off and ensuring success once they are put out into your beds, fields, or pots! All participants will also leave with an assorted 6-pack of herbs, and a 6-pack of their choice of tomatoes or summer squash to tend and transplant at home. ***This is a rain or shine event that will take place in our greenhouse. Dress in layers as it will be into the 80’s during our class!** **Register online by 3/18/24**
